To The Qualified Electors Of The City Of Adrian, County Of Lenawee:
Depending on if the City has to hold a primary the next election will be August 3, 2021 for the City Primary and/or November 2, 2020 for the City General election.
The election will be for Mayor (2 year term) and three open Commission seats (4 year terms.)
The election will be held at the Lenawee County Fairgrounds in the Merchants Building at 602 N. Dean Street, Adrian.
The Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 pm.
Absentee ballots can be obtained by mail until the Friday before the election by 5:00 pm.
Absentee ballots can also be obtained at the City of Adrian, City Clerk’s Office on the 2nd floor until the Monday before election day by 4:00 pm. If the ballot is issued on that Monday, it must be voted at the City Clerk’s Office.
The City Clerk’s Office will be open the Saturday before the election to allow for voter registration and to issue and receive absentee ballots.
To obtain an Absentee Ballot you may visit the Secretary of State’s Office and apply online or come to the City Clerk’s office.
You may either take the ballot with you or vote it here at City Hall.
The front doors to City Hall remained locked. Access to City Hall can only be made through the Toledo Street Entrance. Our office hours are 8:00 to 4:30 pm.
