When is curbside yard waste pickup?
Curbside yard waste collection occurs in the spring and fall of each year. Collection dates are announced prior to each session. When is trash pickup?
Tuesdays are the scheduled trash pickup days for all city residents. Please have your bagged, household trash at curbside no earlier than 6pm on Monday and no later than 7am on Tuesdays.

How do I obtain a compost site entrance sticker?
Residents interested in using the Compost Site must obtain a window sticker (no charge) from the City Clerk’s office on the 2nd floor of City Hall, M-F 8am-4:30pm. Residents will receive only one sticker per address.
Where is the city compost site located?
The Adrian Compost Site is located on Oakwood Avenue just past Oakwood Cemetery. Residents interested in using the Compost Site must obtain a permanent window sticker (one per address) from City Hall.
Why are rental house inspections conducted?
The City of Adrian began inspecting non-owner occupied properties in 2001 to protect the public health, safety and welfare of city residents and to improve housing conditions within the City of Adrian.

How do I arrange for a special trash pickup for a large item?
Large items (over 50 lbs or not in a bag) can be picked up for a $5.00 fee for each item. Residents must call Stevens Disposal at 1-800-779-0344 prior to trash pickup day and make arrangements for pickup and to pay the fee.

This could be caused by a leak. Most household leaks occur from faulty toilet apparatus. You may have been watering your lawn. Do you have a pool that you recently filled? Are there more people in the household?
