Boulevard Trees

The City Parks & Forestry Department is responsible for the pruning and removal of all boulevard trees (trees generally between the curb and sidewalk).

If you’re interested in having a street tree planted in the right-of-way in front of your home please contact the Parks & Forestry Department at 517-264-4876. Be sure and include your street address and daytime phone number so that we may inspect the location and determine whether or not a tree can be planted.

Downed Boulevard Tree

To report a downed tree across a city street please contact City Hall at 517-264-4876 between the hours of 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. To report a downed tree across a city street after hours please contact the Lenawee County Sheriff’s office at 517-263-0524.

To report a downed power line in a tree on your property or a boulevard tree contact Consumers Energy at 1-800-477-5050.
