Fire Inspections/ Site-Plan Review

In October of 2022, the City of Adrian hired its first ever fire inspector. The fire inspector will be responsible for performing annual and bi-annual fire and life safety inspections at businesses throughout the city.

Site-Plan Reviews are conducted whenever there is a proposed construction project within the City of Adrian with the exception of singe family dwellings. AFD personnel work with other city departments in identifying and addressing issues while still in the planning process. The City of Adrian has adopted the International Fire Code for all buildings inside the city limits.
